Our market garden is winding down due to the terrible weather we have had this year. I have almost no winter squash and I can not find a single pumpkin in the half acre I planted. I have decided to suppliment my few remaining items with value added products. I have buckets and buckets of jalapenos and white japanese eggplant. Anyone have any ideas for those. Too bad all my tomatoes had Late Blight. I just got a tip on making Bloody Mary Mix. It seems it is very popular at another Farmer's Market. So popular the maker is turning their whole crop of tomatoes into the stuff.
I have cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower , brussel sprouts and cabbage along with 3 rows of yellow beans , 5 rows of shell beans and daikon radishes . Of course about 20 bushels of sweet onions.
Help .
Linda
