okay, the background is a few (helpful?) youg hands weeded the back of the garden for me in the end of june... i don't think we need to re-hash the gory details.
long story short the new okra planted from seed in early july is just starting to blossom at only 4' tall and only a few blossoms so far. We have had a pretty wet year, first frost is mid oct, and night temps are starting to creep into the 50's. Do I cover with a row cover? put together my hoophouse? (will be bad for the broccoli growing around it) or does okra need to pollinate.. will it develop as the nights get cool?
