I've got a request. I placed an order on your web site last week and it was filled today. After part of the order was already shipped, you then informed me that the Echinacea 'Meringue' (the primary reason I was placing the order) was not going to be included in the shipment that was going to arrive, and you asked me if I wanted to replace them?
In the future, if an order cannot be completed, I would prefer if you gave the customer the option to continue with the order before you start shipping parts of the order out. I could then decide whether to go ahead and accept the rest of the order or cancel it, and to replace the Echinacea and include something else with the same shipment, or omit them all together and take delivery on the partial shipment. It upset me a little that you took this option away from me and went ahead and shipped a partial order before letting me know that something that was available when I purchased it and paid for it, was then not in good enough shape at shipping time, and you didn't allow me the option to decide if I wanted the rest of the order. I am planting for the fall, it's getting late, and I would have chosen not continued with the order, but would have gone with a different plant grouping from my local nursery.
Even a company like Michigan Bulb contacts me, even when I'm ordering a Buy 3 Get 3 free and part of the order is not available, and I'm not paying $10 to $18 per plant with Michigan Bulb.
