This one kinda startled me when I came upon it. It is hanging on it's most sturdy web spun so nights ago behind my Aamco Transmission shop, in Portsmouth, Va. I imagine and with the beautiful array of color, I had to capture it. Next to make sure it wasn't poison, I went to DG to learn and am refreshed to know this spider is not poisonous. So now I look in on it from time to time as it enjoys the temperatures here in Portsmouth, Virginia which today is about 83 degrees, here in September 2009. Now I know more about them and how to let them be and not destroy things we know nothing about.

Thanks, I am happy with our newest tenant. This past Saturday, I was treated to a display of talent. I went to check on our friend and around 7:30am it was moving around and then it started writing. I was so amazed and angry because I didn't have my video camera to record this. I am sure most people don't get to see that. It was simply amazing. The spider actually writes straighter than me! lol.
