I live in zone 7a NC how and when do you cut petunias back? Also what kinds to cut back, not wave? I planted some in April and they lasted until end of August before they were leggy. They bloomed all the way down the until the very last bloom at the end of the plant then quit. I am new to petunias and love them. I would like to try some by seed this winter indoors as the variety is way better if purchased by seed in my area than if to purchase already grown... Any tips on growing petunias by seed? I see there are a few "petunia crazy" people here lol
