Around here there's pretty much just moaning and groaning about fall.

Have you read the Gladys Taber books? All different Stillmeadow Farm stories, lots of descriptions of the changing seasons, written in the fifties and sixties I think...at any rate, I keep them all by my bedside, as I love to be reminded of the beauty that can be found in anything, if I only look.

Your article reminded me of all the things that are beautiful in fall!

    Thanks

Fall is my favorite season - if the doomsayers get to much for you, drop me a line and I'll cheer you up.

I have read Gladys Tabor, good stuff.

Wonderful narrative of your life on the farm. The maples are simply breath taking!
