...for your nicely written article. I like the sunlight this time of year, coming in at an angle, even if it does mean there's Serious Cold Temperatures just down the road. And the smell of the drying corn fields down in the bottoms by the creek and the smell of good silage is hard to beat. Now if the mockingbirds would just stay around longer! They leave the last of July here and won't be back for 7 months. Thanks again.
I loved reading your thoughtful writing about your appreciation of such a beautiful season...autumn. For me, autumn has always arrived with great relief because it would bring a prettier, softer sunlight with some cool breezes and give us Texans a deserved relief from the scorching heat of the unrelenting Texas summer sun. Each season has its lovely and dazzling moments, but autumn is always the time I want to yell, "At last, it's finally here...beautiful autumn!
