I just purchased 4 pinky winky hydrangeas with the purpose of separating my yard from my neighbor's gross weedy yard and who never rakes in the fall. Anyway - I want to have a nice full hedge over time so I am wondering how far apart I should space them. They can potentially grow 6 - 8 ft. wide and high. Is there some rule of thumb for growing a nice full hedge? Thanks for any info. gail
