At a scrapbook store clearance center I bought Jumbo Eyelets by Karen Foster. Now I see that the pkg says use an apparently special tool: K F Clikit for setting the eyelets. They are much too large for my little, regular eyelet setting tool. Any thing that might substitute?

Do you have the Cropadile or Big Byte? I can set bigger eyelets with either of these. I don't know how big "jumbo" is, but maybe either of these tools would work.

Thanks for your reply Butterfly. I only have a plain round screwdriver looking-thingy and a small hammer. No other tool. I'll put DH on the case!

Ohhhh. If you're going to do eyelets, you need a cropadile or big byte. The crop is the smaller version of the big byte. The big byte will go 6 inches into your paper, so if you use 12 x 12 paper, you can set an eyelet anywhere on the page. Seems like it will set other things too, I'm not sure. It may just do other sizes of eyelets. If you have a Hobby Lobby or Michaels, watch for their coupons and buy it on discount because it's rather expensive. I think I got my Big Byte on Ebay for about $20 brand new. At the time, they were selling for around $50 or so on QVC.
