Hi everyone,

I have a question...Is there a difference between Garden Mums and Cushion Mums? If so, what is the difference?

Also, I picked up 2 New York Asters locally when in bloom. Now all the blooms have died off, and they look icky. I tried my best to deadhead it, and got most of the millions of blooms. Does it bloom again? Is it necessary to deadhead them?

If you deahead and your growing season is normal (ie, long), you should see blooms again in October-ish? I do not deadhead them though, I simply have too many mums and too little time. Sometimes they will flower again (with no "input" from me) and that is just fine with me. Hee hee hee.
