This poor plant is an asclepius tuberosa. I went away for about 10 days and this had happened in the interim. I have some other asclepius elsewhere on the property which are fine. Green. No sign of going dormant. This plant is in a rather gravelly meadow. Very well drained. I wouldn't think there would be a great invasion of slugs (which can do this to plants snuggled up to a stone wall.) Any ideas?
TIA
