tomorrow we are going to hit the apples! I have a huge red delicious tree along with 6 others of different varieties. What I would like to do is can diced apples. I thought it would be really easy this winter to grab a jar and throw them in a fruit salad or something. I'd like to keep the peeling on, as it adds color to the salads. Every recipe I see, it states to peel the apple. Has anyone tried to can apples, without peeling them?
