| It doesn't reside on my 'puter anymore due to getting rid of unused programs. Who knew I would need it to switch from Eudora to Outlook? Does anybody have a clue where I might be able to download a copy? |

| If you've deleted it, I'd look on Microsoft's site to see if you can find a download, or check download.com |

| I've never seen OE as a standalone download, but apparently version 6 was released as such. It's available from Tucows.

| You can also download IE. Best to put it on a cd and then install it. Make sure
it is from the microsoft site. You will receive the latest version. Save the cd in
case you may need it again. |

| Would it be a full version? I know when I had it, I was only able to use just bits and pieces of it.
Now I'm going to school again and they're teaching us all of this Microsoft Office stuff that I've never had because it is so blasted expensive...I've got OpenOfficeOrg but unsure if that will cut it... |

| 3G, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express are free, and have nothing to do with Office. =) |

| Then how come I could never use all of the features when I had Outlook? or are there 2 Outlooks? |

| there is OutLook and OutLook Express... I personally do not use them, as I use Mozilla products...
but i do believe it is Outlook Express that comes free with Windows.
if you are taking a class - learning MS Office programs... you can look into the academic versions... I always purchased them - when i was taking classes or my kids were enrolled. MUCH cheaper that way. |

| I just checked the Microsoft site. OFFICE OUTLOOK is a combo software listed
for something like $109. They had a free trial version that timed out and went dead.
Outlook Express is strictly e-mail management integrated into IE and free. You can
download it from Microsoft as IE. |

| XP has Outlook Express, Vista has Windows Mail. They are basically the same except
mail has a couple added features. I have both on separate hard drives I can interchange.
Anyone using Office in a serious manner should probably opt for the Office Outlook. |

| The reason I need OE is to migrate my data from Eudora to Outlook. That's the only way it can be done. I have Outlook 2003 which is good enough for me. The newest version doesn't have all that much to commend itself. |

| I think I've found an operable copy on an old backup file I've had. I haven't tried it out yet, but at least that's good news! |
