One of my valve stems on one of my radiators (Hot Water) broke off resulting in quite the flood. Managed to drain the system, had a plumber come out, he used the same nut that was holding the valve stem on, a penny and a rubber washer and capped it off. I'm afraid to turn my heat on in case that doesn't hold. Any thoughts? Thanks Annette I've refilled the radiators and it's not leaking.
