I like this sedum. I planted it last fall and it has spread and is great in the garden. I guess I was thinking that it would bloom, but it didn't. Does anyone know about this type of sedum? I think it was called angelonia or something... not sure.

I actually have this sedum growing wild in the woods. I planted them in my garden and kept them cut to about 5 inches during the summer and yahoo beautiful purple flowers came out in the late summer. Im guessing that just by keeping them at a controlled height and in direct sun they flowered for the first time. I am a new gardener and need to get more information on this sedum myself.

If yours has purple flowers then it is not the same kind as this one--Sedum 'Angelina' has yellow flowers. There are other types of sedum that have purple flowers though--if you start a new thread and post some pictures of your plant someone may be able to tell you exactly what kind you have.
