Hi all,
how long does it take (generally) to get a flowering AV from a leaf cutting? I want to do a project with my students propagating a plant from leaves and hope to have a flowering AV by Mothers Day 2010.
Next, I have one NOID white AV, and one NOID pink AV so I am asking for donations of AV leaves. I wouldn't ask, but I have already had to spend so much for my classroom (pencils, paper, dry erase markers, little wipe boards), and borrowed microscopes (thanks again to a DGer)... The schools are strapped, but kids need hands on experience - not just paper packets. I teach in Special Ed self-contained so I have 20 students maximum (my students fluctuate as they are emotionally disabled - sometimes incarcerated or hospitalized). I don't know how the regular ed teachers are doing it with 30 or more students
