The flowers of gaillardia var "Amber Wheels" looked really cool in the picts, so i bought several of them this year and planted them in prime locations, but none of them bloomed. All of my other gaillardia vars bloomed this year, but Amber Wheels was a no-show - not even a hint of flower stems - neither for me, nor for other gardeners in the area, nor even for local nurseries. Did they bloom for you? Is there a trick to getting them to bloom? Some secret "Amber Wheels sauce" that needs to be applied? I'd include a picture, but ... uh... got nothin' to photograph, LOL. :)
