We cannot close the damper in our fireplace. DH thinks it "may possibly be warped." He has tried WD40, brut strength, etc. and it won't close. It's a rock chimney, not a pre-fab. We have gas logs in it now. Does anyone have an idea of what we can do to make it work again?
