Hubby and I started tackling the next 600 sq. ft. of Burmuda Grass over the weekend. Got half of it removed - the other half will hopefully be out this coming weekend. What a chore! I gave the grassy clumps to my neighbor for her front yard, she had a lot of bare spots.

This area has a 10 ft length against my other neighbor's fence - great for next spring's crop of Wando peas. When the peas are done, I'll set sweet potato slips as they seem to be the only thing that can compete with Burmuda grass and win! There are bound to be some grass roots left, and even one teeny tiny bit will grow.
