Hey all, I wrote a story about leaf blowing inside my house and
it was rejected for not being about gardening.
Hey, would a jeweler have a leaf blower? Would a shoe salesman have
a leaf blower?
NO>
Only a gardener would have a leaf blower. Or two.
Would you folks like to read my story here? I won't get paid
for it, but I think its funny enough to make life just a little bit more
nuts than it is already.

Wiggly,
Just put it in your blog. That's what I did when I wrote a story about my attempts to bring a new plant to the market. I just put it as a new title and did it as a blog. Then I announced it was there at the appropriate forum here. Not sure anyone read it but over 70 people read the post where I announced it.
Don't have your feelings hurt.
I tried a leaf blower once myself in the kitchen!
When I asked at admin if they wanted to feature the garden related story I wrote I got this kind response, which although it was nicely worded and patiently explained, does not encourage me to want to do any writing here in the near future. I have no interest in becoming a regular writer.
Here's how it works per admin:
"Hi karen,
Thank you for your note and kind offer. Please allow me to explain a little about the writers behind our daily articles.
We have a team of writers who submit 1 to 3 articles per month. Regretfully we cannot accept one-time submissions.
If you are interested in joining the writers group, please provide a brief history of your writing credentials (a full curriculum vitae or resume is not necessary, but a short sample and/or links to any previously published work is helpful.) We will be happy to consider you for inclusion when we have an opening available.
Happy Gardening,"
Hugs.
Put your story in your blog and I would like to read it, thx!
