This was supposed to have been Mountain Magic ... When My Mountain Magic looked like a goner, I purchased a rooted cutting of Mountain Magic through e-Bay. I should have known better. However, it exhibits some good traits. It set 1 to 3 buds all summer long last year when most of my Brugs went dormant because of the dry hot summer we had. Some blooms are paler in winter while others are darker. These were darker this past winter. It fell victim to the grasshoppers this spring and summer, but is making a comeback.
