A few months back, when I got my Hostapedia I came across an image that was very familiar to me - but the name was not.
That Hosta was 'Snow White'
I have found a few images on the internet. On the Library, there is only one image of a single leaf, though there is a description on the database.
i feel, even with the little knowledge I have -- that my "Northern Sunray" that I purchased 3 years ago from Foxfire Gardens, may be a Snow White.
The image that I have seen of Snow White, fits with the images I have taken of my Northern Sunray.
Last summer I had emailed Steve to see where he got his Northern Sunray ...[ as if you do a search on it, in the Library's database, NS is a green hosta, not variegate like an undulata. ] He told me that he got his from Ron Williams, who is well known in "hosta circles". But that was all the info I got.
Does anyone have any more information on this Snow White that could help me in my quest?
attached are 5 images that are dated...
this first image is when I just planted it in May of 2007
