There are a couple of things I'd like to uninstall but I can't find where they are to do this! They don't show up in the "add or remove programs" section. How do I locate them to remove them?

For example: Yahoo Sitebuilder. It shows up in my All Programs area but isn't in the "add or remove programs" area. I never use it and it's taking up space...how do I find where it is installed so I can remove it?

3G -- sometimes i will just google it...

like "how to uninstall xxx "
or if I'm unable to do it thru "Add Remove Programs" ... i will just find the folder within
My Computer | C | Program Files
and delete it that way.

sometimes within the program itself, there is an uninstall.exe that may assist you... sometimes not.

Thank you!
I had to hold my breath when it said "these files are hidden, do not touch" LOL and I clicked.

sometimes if i get a "warning" that says something to the effect of...

if you delete this, it could cause another program to not function properly...

I may leave it behind.

tsc is right. Deleting individual files (without the assistance of the add/remove program or the uninstall utility made for said unwanted program) might possibly be dangerous to your pc's health.

So now just remember what you did, and if something else isn't working right, you'll know that one reason could possibly be those "do not touch folders" that you deleted. Just in case, I wouldn't empty your recycle bin for a few months, so you will be able to retrieve those "do not touch" files from the recycle bin if you need to.

Have you looked under the "start" button? I know that is quite obvious, but I've overlooked simple stuff like that, still do!
Anyway, sometimes the uninstall utility is there.
