Here is another neat idea. Trivet made by using water bottle caps (beer bottle caps is better and faster), covering them with crochet. Each person gets color combo of their choice. I am making 4 per household for christmas with complimentary placemats and napkins. My kids are getting $$ cash for christmas as well to come to the beach here in Fl.
Mom made these, and I am finding my girls, still have them and use them after more then 30 years .(they were washed in the machine many times) Then they were in shape of fruits. orange, Lemon, grape clusters and more.
