Went to yard sales today and found these. They are so comfortable to sit in. Can't decide what color to paint them. What do you all think? I was thinking about red, but my only concern is the little nylon pads at the top of the chair. They slip off, but not sure I could paint those.

Those chairs are really nice. Just slip the nylon pads off, paint them the color you like and leave pads as is.

You could paint them the same color you paint the wicker planter.

thank you, they are sooooo comfortable. They are 'bouncers'. You don't rock in them but 'bounce" Is there a name for those kind of chairs?

Really nice chairs. I agree with Samigal. Paint the chairs and leave the pads as is. It would show their history a bit which is part of the fun of TtoT. Its not pretending to be new. And when you collect odd items I think it gives an eclectic look - obviously! I love it.

GAgirl, I have a chair just like those, that I found at the thrift store, but mine doesn't have the pad at the top.You are right, It the most comfortable lawn chair that I have ever owned. Wish I could find more of them.
