When is the best time to collect seed pods from hostas? I am familiar with collecting seed from perennials but have never done it with hostas. I have quite a few varieties that have a ton of pods right now and would like to give it a try this winter and see what happens. Once I know when to collect them I can do a little research to see if the varieties I have make viable seeds.
