I germinated some pride of barbados - the ordinary orange kind this spring and grew them in the greenhouse till it warmed up here in Washington. The best and only survivor of the lot grew only 3 inches. Everything I've read about them says they grow like mad. Is it just the lack of very hot weather that's kept them small? Anyone have any tips on how to get the baby bigger next year?
