Article: Pickled Corn
Hemophobic Kannapolis, NC Aha! Another shared memory. Nothing finer than pickled corn or pickled beans and mixed together, sheer heaven! Fine fare for this rainy morning, my dear friend!
adinamiti Balotesti Romania Sharon, we don't do this in Romania, but we use corn beans together with cabbage to make sauerkraut, for getting the yellow color. I must admit I never tried to eat those beans, but I'll try this year...I'm drooling already!LOL
Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
DustyDS Sugar Valley, GA (Zone 7b) Yummiest stuff on earth!!!...I love the Pickled corn, but not the beans...
I like my green beans whole and lightly fried..
Sharran (Zone 7a) Hi Ladies,
Great to hear from you. Pickled beans are good, but when I have pickled corn, that's enough sour for the moment.
Adina, I think you'll love it.
Angie, yes, with this rain, it is a pickled corn day!
And Dusty, yes, I might have known you'd love it too.
Thanks for writing, ladies, stay dry in this downpour.
roseone33 Southern Mountains, GA (Zone 6b) Sounds delicious! Might try it one of these years. Thank you Sharran.
