Many years ago (i could kick myself) I saw Christmas stockings at a boutique that were made from mens shirts (for boys) and womens blouses (for girls) . The neckline was the opening for the top of the stocking. I have a toddler dress in green velveteen and lace that I would like to use in this way. It's not long enough to just cut the shape and sew it up and wind up w/a decent size sock. Any ideas of how to adapt this idea? ( I want 2 b sure u can c that it WAS a dress...) Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thankx
