Next Monday, a huge Greenhouse complex is being auctioned off by the piece. The whole complex is for sale for 3.5 million but with the economy they decided t break everything down. Yesterday my husband and me with an old friend explored the place. There are 5 greenhouses I want to bid on. The frames are about 10 years old but in excellant condition. The owner took great care of everything. The owner chatted with us for a while and even took hubby farther back on the property to show him some high tunnels he is selling separately from the other green houses.
Most of the 3 acres of covered greenhouses are gutter connect but the ones I want are singles. I am looking at
2 -32x120 gothic arches
1- 28x120 gothic
1 20x64 hand made wooden ?
1- 28 x80 gothic
These all come with furnace, 54 inch intake and 2outlet shutters. all have benches
I am going to need a lot of prayers to get these. My cash is very tight this year after the Late Blight and terrible weather. But a chance like this is once in a life time and I have to go for it. My friend has lined up helpers to take the greenhouses down . We will only have 2 weeks to remove them from the property. If any of you have removed green houses I could use some help with your experiences. We are looking for trucking today. I sure hope I can be the lucky bidder.
