Collard liquor is a great addition to vegetable soup and I found it adds a lot of flavor to my cabbage roll recipe. However I don't think I used vinegar. I like tarragon vinegar on greens and don't always cook them with meat. I would describe collards as more "meaty," in texture than other greens. I also love rutabaga greens cooked with slices of the root. I have not had much luck, yet, growing rutabagas down here in Tallahassee. Does any one know of a variety that might do well here? The seed I currently have is Laurentian.
