It was about 20 degrees here last night. Even the apples are frozen. I don't know how I could have left my lilies lying on the ground waiting to be replanted when I wasn't so busy. Also other things I was in the middle of dividing and moving and now are just sitting in frozen chunks on top of the ground. I don't remember getting such an early hard freeze all at once, it seemed like a semi wreck on the freeway. Anyone else caught by their procrastination? Will the lily bulbs die? The sedum will probably survive if I get it back in the ground, probably also the daylilies, but I don't know how hardy lily bulbs are.
