We will be having another "white elephant" exchange again at the SWAP. It's just a name gang...no white elephants really. Let's go for used gifts this time unless it's something you made. We don't want people to have to spend money. One person's throw away junk window frame is another gals treasure...an old bird house that you no longer want, tools, pots, whatever!!!!! This can be a fun and hilarious game when you watch some rubber boots being fought over...everything goes!
Our 4 rules are simple:
1. Bring something USED for the garden
2. No plants, just fun, useful or decorative
3. WRAP it in disguise
4. This is VOLUNTARY! Play only if you want to and if you’ve brought a gift
OUR GAME PLAYING
1. When you arrive, come to me and show me your wrapped gift and you'll get a ticket for game play later on. (red glasses, dark hair)
2. When it’s time to play, make sure you have your ticket ready!
3. Number 1 is the BEST number to have. #1 goes first AND last...at the very end of the game.
4. Number 2 goes next. #2 can steal from #1 or open a new gift. If #2 steals from #1, then #1 gets to go again BUT can't take from the person who took his gift. NO ONE can ever take a gift from the person who just took it from him or her. EVER EVER EVER.
5. Number 3 goes next and can steal from #1 or #2 and the pattern repeats for the duration of the game. The last player will be #1 and then the game is over.
6. THE GIFT can be stolen only 3 times!!!!!!!
7. Nothing is yours until the end of the game.
DISCLAIMER: The photo of the white elephant is purely to get your attention!
