Do any of you by some chance have extra hoses with ends for Seal-a-Meal canisters? I have some canisters that I got at the thrift store I work for but no hoses and my sealer is a Food Saver. I have read reports of being able to melt or tape two hoses of the opposite machines together and make them work that way.

Can anyone tell me how to get a vacumm seal in/on a Seal a Meal container with a knob on top that just twists. Does the twisting in the one direction form the seal? If so, what releases it? It has no place to do any vacumming. Just the twisting knob.

I also need the pusher/guide/safety bar for a Rival foldup food slicer and the flat plate that sits on top of the metal bars of a Rival electric food slicer, model 1030/7. I'll gladly pay for the items, but the company no longer supports those appliances so I can't order them. I have called small appliance repair places and they say the same thing and they have none left over.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
