Thank you for adding on to the topic of Holy Basil that we were having a discussion on a few weeks ago after an article about basil. Now I understand why it is called holy. I would be interested to know what is done in the daily devotion of the plant and ways that the leaves are used in cooking or medicine. Thank you so much for an India perspective on plants that opens our minds to new plant uses. Aloha

I had taken this short video with no real purpose at that time when the new camera came to me about 3 years ago and was trying to upload it here. Here is my DW offering prayers to the basil plant. I have missed the part when she circumambulates the plant.
Thank you so much for your replies. It has been all very interesting and opened up a new view of life in India. Hopefully one day I will actually get there to see it all for myself.
