I have a peace lily...relatively young and when i got it it had one white flower on it...i didn't realize that if i got the flower wet i might cause it to germinate or whatever it is called and the flower turned green and died...i was just wondering...if and when i can expect the PL to start flowering again...thanks to any and all that can help

I have one peace lily, which has larger leaves, that flowers every now and then. I also have another peace lily, which has smaller leaves, that has never flowered. Don't know why.

I have a peace lily that I have had for a couple of years.. Sometimes it flowers and sometimes it don't..I have moved it around to different conditions trying to make it flower and it just looks at me and laughs. Once I placed it in my kitchen away from a window and in a corner that receives only partial sun.. No direct sun at all.. It flowered like crazy and then the leaves started looking "lazy" not droopy like when it needs water.. just lazy. I recently moved it into my foyer. I placed it on a side wall, where it gets some light from the small side window next to my door. It looks better but still not perky.. I just don't know if it will flower or not. It certainly has a mind of its own.

I have both of mine in my south window. It doesn't get hot south sun because I have a tree in my backyard on the west side that shades my whole backyard from the hot afternoon sun. So its a bright window in the morning. They both seem to love it there. My large one looked droopy once. I re-potted it and it seems to have come out of it. It has flowered at least twice since I re-potted it. And I don't water them very often. They both have new growth.

Sounds like you are treating them right. They will come around when they are ready. I repotted mine some time ago, thinking that would help, but I honestly think I chose a pot that was a little too big for it.. So I have to wait until roots fill the pot before I have a shot a getting it to produce flowers.. It does have some new growth.

I think your are just being finicky.. Time will tell. Keep up posted.,
