I have IE7 running on Vista. It has suddenly started scrambling my favicons on my links toolbar and on the open tabs. For example, it's using the USPS favicon on my Ebay tab and using Blogger favicon on the USPS link and using who knows what on my Dave's Garden tab and using the Ebay favicon on a google search tab . . .etc. etc. (screen print attached).

Does anyone know how to fix this? Do I need to clear my cache and then will it reload the right favicons as I visit the different sites again?

Any ideas? It's certainly not the end of the world, but definately irritating!

Thanks!

Why don't you download a different browser and see what happens. I stopped using IE years ago and switched to Firefox.

I don't have IE so I don't know if this is a known bug with it...but have you tried closing & restarting the browser, and if that doesn't work try rebooting the computer? This strikes me as one of those random sorts of things that can sometimes be solved by just starting everything up again. Maybe not, but if you haven't tried that already I'd definitely try that first.
