I just got some surprise cuttings from a rose bush that I would really like to get rooted. But, rooting hormone powder is out of seasonal stock in my local zone 6 stores, and I don't know where to hunt down a willow tree to scrape bark from in this city to try to follow a "homemade hormone" recipe. I also think it would take too long deliver stuff ordered off the internet.
Any suggestions for rooting these? They look like nice 7" new growth (still green stemmed) cuttings...
Should I put them in small individual pots - or can I group them together and re-pot later?
Thanks!
Rose - with her first rose cuttings...
