Not looking forward to scrubbing carrots 'till 4am freezing outside in a month or 2. Also, have a bunch of mustards, kales, lettuce, greens, etc. . Beets, turnips, carrots, rutabaga, radishes, etc. ...
Always I've got tons of problems getting these clean & keeping them fresh in some simple kind of way. Sticking them in plastic bags in an ice cooler in the field, washing them with a vegetable brush in ice water all night, then throwing them in fresh bags & fresh ice & to the market in a cooler is too much... and things are still wilting 1/3 of the way through the market & no good in a couple days if they aren't sold. How do y'all pull off these cool weather things?
