that the spiders enjoy tasty fresh-caught morsels, I will be happy to toss them grasshoppers and stink bugs in the future. I had a lovely lady spider for this summer who dwelled among my cherry tomatoes, but I never fed her. Glad for the rerun. JK

Yes, they do seem to enjoy...or at least anticipate... morsels being tossed into their webs and I get a smug satisfaction whenever I see a grasshopper wrapped up all neat and tidy.
