On days like this my wife and I ask ourselves that age old question. Why on earth do we have 3 dogs? Other pet owners may substitute cat, etc, but the question remains the same.
Mud season comes twice a year in Nova Scotia and todays photo's reflect the coming together of three factors, heavy rain, clay soil, and a chipmunk under the shed.
Now normally we don't like the winter but it does freeze the ground and the mud becomes solid. Then we don't have to hose down the three boys every time they come in. However spring follows winter and the cycle repeats.
But when all is said and done the boys add so much joy to our lives that even the mud season becomes just a minor inconvenience.
Charlie and Harry, Can we please come in! Jack is in next post
