You always come up with neat things Linda. I can't wait to see it when you get done. Take photos as you go along. We might just want to copy your idea! HAHAHA

interesting and a very creative idea.
I have been working on fused plastic to make flags, banners,
The finished pieces are sewn and used for CD cases,Laptop cases.
Maskes.
Garden ornaments etc.
Save your plastic and use 2 pieces of parchment paper with a iron set on high.
Lay 1 piece of parchment on a work table
Make your arrangement
Lay 2'nd piece of parchment on top, dont let plastic over lap the parchment or it will gunk up the iron.
Slowly iron, you will hear the plastin fusing and shrinking.
When the top layer of Parch. begins to seperate ,lift it and if you want to add more plastic at that time go ahead.
These are some of the banners I made, just first attempts.

Having just come from the Renaissance Festival, I really appreciate these pieces. They would have fit right in at the fair. Your transformation from table to art is awesome! Did you make the others also? Or just use them as inspiration?

Did you create the masks yourself? What are the adornments on them? I'd love to see them closer.

I've got several wooden masks that I may have to "borrow" this idea for.

I loved that they are 3 dimensional.

ge1836, I'm really interested in your fusing plastic. Looks like something I may be interested in doing, along with a million other projects I see on these threads. Looking forward to seeing more.

Unigue, yes I made the masks out of strofoam, them covered with material, or painted them. Linda
