We have had so much rain and it has still been pretty warm here, it has caused some of my Azaleas to bloom.. Some of them look just as they should and some have flowers on them. Wow!!!

A couple days ago we woke up to 41 degree weather. By the time the sun set it was 43 degrees warmer...no wonder the plants are confused...so are the critters and me too...grin

Our weather has been real crazy here too with lots and lots of rain. We'll have a few warm days and then cooler temps down in the 40's. I still have lots of flowers, including azaleas, blooming. Love the late blooming flowers but I sure wish the grass would quit growing--hubby and I are sick of mowing :-{

Wow pastime, I figured y'all would have snow up there by now! That seems unfair for you to live that far north and still have to mow grass.

Sometimes it snows up here around Thanksgiving, but it's December when we can get a nasty blizzard that closes O'Hare airport.

We average one snow roughly every 10 years and that's plenty for us! It will usually be anywhere from a light covering to an inch--enough to play in before it melts by the end of the day :-}
