| This swap is for those of us who could not commit to the Original Signature Swap, and also for those in the Original Swap that want more blocks - and we want blocks from you also.
Thunder was planning to host this one, but whith her housefull of people, I agreed to step in and get this rolling.
Basically the same "rules" apply. For those in the "Original" Group, you will only be sending blocks to those of us who were NOT in the Original swap. We "newbies" will have to send a block to every participant. WHen you sign up, please let me know if you were in the Original Group.
With the Holidays coming up, I'd like to keep this open thru the end of Jan 2010. Of course, we will gladly accept blocks earlier.
You will make a block for each participant, mail direct to them (unless a friend from across the Ocean will join us).
100% cotton, pre-washed
no spray starch, sizing OK
remove selvages before cutting pieces for blocks
blocks will be 8.5 (8" finished )
you will make one block for each participant , one block for yourself
you will make the block you choose, in fabrics you choose, colors and designs you like, and sign the block using pen made for the purpose (pigma pens is one). you may sign just your name,(please include your Dave's garden name) or add a little quote if you desire. make the block "you".
send your block with a "note" explaining a bit of why you chose the design, and why you chose the fabrics...thanks...

| I LOVE that site! I am too cheap (and broke!) to buy patterns so that really helps fulfill my need for pattern 'shopping".
We are in WA today and hope to put an offer on a house. I am hoping they will accept my bid of full price with stipulation that I get to rent it until the the loan closes. Part of my offer is they pay all the closing costs. THAT is why we're offering full price. Hold your breath & send us good vibes!
DH will have to stay in Idaho and finish getting the house ready for sale. THAT will speed him up! He REALLY hates to be away from me! |
