| Same here too.. have trouble with orange, though DH tends to draw towards that color whenever he's asked to help with choosing fabric.
Orange is okay on a birdhouse, halloween theme, but not in my quilts!!!
And oh yeah.. don't do Pink. |

| Ya know I thought I did not like browns and pinks, but I made a quilt for a friends baby and those were her colors...and in the end I really liked the quilt...not something I would make for myself, but still I liked it...
never was a big fan of pinks, but used in the right way they CAN look good in a quilt..
babeegirl, I love that fabric.
I guess I can not think of any colors I can't stand... Click the image for an enlarged view.

| I have issues with "red". I can deal with a muted but not a bright red.
And I don't care for gold or brown.
Pink is OK in a baby quilt - but I like a BRIGHT pink otherwise. |

| Munge is a color that is not clear...a color with too much gray in it. Best I can describe it. Adding a white fabric in the mix always makes it much better. Flowers or fabric...I like clear, true colors to work with.
To look at or receive, I find such pleasure in getting and seeing things I would have never thought of, I dont care what color they are.
Hang tight Marion, you might have to get the orange blockers real soon here. ;-o
I gotta say tho, I LOVE Bobby B., what a hard, uncalled for time for him.

| Pam, so happy you have such a great sense of humor!! Some of my G'ville friends don't so you are a breath of fresh air. Send away on that orange (and if it has blue so be it) block. I truthfully don't like orange so that I use it but if it comes in something others have done--I have no problem with it. Just a color that is hard for me to sew on--no clue why. |

| O yes, they have all the FL schools covered. There used to be a store in butler plaza as well, not sure if they are still there. There are lots of things for parents of a gator and a nole as well, or spouses that are gator/noles. Theyve got your wallet covered.
OOOO speaking of football ;-)...gators are about an hour away from erasing from their memory, that one point, one game loss last year.
Lets hope it goes the way it went for the noles the other night. I went to bed so depressed at half time...I mean I want them to win, except against us. It looked like they were sunk, I only just found out they came back and won...good going Team and Bobby. |

| I can't believe haw many of us are anti-pink. Nor can I believe how much pink I have!!!
My sister-in-law is into the Shabby Chic look. Redid her entire house in pink & white and I did some quilts & pillows for her. It was difficult to work on.
I do have a few pieces of beautiful pink batiks - 2 have Hawaiian flowers (tone on tone) and the other pieces are in the fuscia family. I use them sparingly for a splash of unexpected color. I guess they fall into my "it's bright" category and less the icky pink category. |

| Thank goodness none of my signature blocks had pink.
I actually like pink, unless it has purple in it and it really mauve.
Anything with gray in it...dont enjoy. I have carpet that was suppose to be green, and I guess it really is, sometimes tho, it can look grayish to me, I loath it. |

| I really don't care for greens or yellows. I guess because of my coloring, I can't wear either color or my skin looks to match. In a long family history of blonds with blue eyes, my mother and I show up with dark hair and eyes and olive skin. Doing geneology, I found a photo of a great great grandfather who looks very much indian. I haven't found documentation to prove this but every once in a while one of us has his coloring. One of my daughters and her sons also have the coloring. The rest are fair, as are the rest of my grandchildren. I'm always tickled when brown eyes show up. |

| I love my marigolds and would love to make a tribute wall hanging but I'm still searching for a way to combine red, yellow and orange in a pleasing way. Oh yeah, Mittsy, I'll be sending you some of the yellow marigold seeds as soon as the bleepin' things quit blooming:) not a single bloom has faded! they are all beautiful, fat blooms that have lasted forever. Just waiting for them to fade and dry so I can harvest the seeds. I have a 2 gallon ziplock bag full of the Harmony french marigolds seeds with more to come, like, enough for a couple of football fields lol...I sent some to my tote bag buddy. Holler if anyone wants any of them! |

I loath that fabric so much I wont even swap it or put it in the good will stuff. I think the scale and combination of colors is almost more of a problem than color itself.
