Largest Apple

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

Any idea how big in diameter a 4-lb apple would be?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I dunno, but I'd guess a typical apple is probably around 4-7 ounces, and probably 3-5" around, if that gives you any basis for comparison.

I suspect that apple is an exceptionally large Wolf River, which, from pictures, appear to reach a five-inch diameter (circumference over fifteen inches, and to hold it, I hope your pie are square)

That's one big dumpling.
