Hi everyone, time is running out to join in with us. I will have to stop taking names this Saturday, October 31st. On Sunday, November 1st, I will dmail each of you your swap partners name and address and I ask that you mail your ornament to your swap buddy no later than November 18th . If you want to be in on this swap, please let me know.

Participants:If you are not in address exchange, please dmail me your info.

We came from here. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1040008/

I have searched for Christmas ornaments that will remind me, during the cold holidays of my soon coming spring garden. We would love to have you be a part of a Garden Christmas tree ornament swap.

The ornaments can be anything of your own creating that you think would please your swap partner. But it must be an ornament and able to be hung on the family Christmas Tree. They can be painted and embellished. Remember to add a hanger of some sort, small screw eye, decorative small rope, etc.
------------- A few ideas are below. Suggestions only: These are only ideas, anything that is garden related is great. You decide.
A plain Christmas bulb with garden stickers on it http://www.craftsetc.com/store/zoom.aspx?hdnAltImageId=&Item...
or painted garden objects such as Small wooden garden items exp. Small decorated wooden wheel barrows ,small garden pots, small birdhouses
or Small plastic garden tools decorated (like you find in the toy section). or Small painted gourds.
You can add embellishments such as sequins, ric rac, small rhinestones, etc.
. Wal-mart offers a selection at stores only (not on their web). The selection is called 'Holiday Time Traditional vintage collections. They feature small birdhouses, picket fences, etc. They run around $5.00.

But It would be great if you can make or embellish the ornament yourself or purchase one and Give it that personal "Gardeners Touch".

If anyone else has any other ideas for a special Garden christmas Tree ornament, please post it for us.
Other links to give you a ideas.
