I have a nice little collection of Adromischus: cristatus, filicaulis, triflorus, trigynis, hemisphaericus (two forms), maximus, leucophyllus, and others. I rather like the little plants.
Last winter I had hemisphaericus do some serious growing in December and January, all etiolated, and rather funny looking. This winter, I am seeing it, and several others starting to show new growth. I have a 4' florescent fixture that I could put over these plants for the winter, and I wonder if it would do any good? I would prefer that my plants were not misshapen due to this winter growth. I have no southern exposure in my house, just east and west, with the clouds, sunlight can be minimal anyway, so lights are the only way to get good light.
