My exchange student was using some dipliatory (spelling??) wax and accidently got a thin sweater/shirt sleeve into it . The material is EXTREMELY thin - and I can't get this wax out of it. I tried to wash it out with soap and water but it didn't seem to phase it. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I have NO IDEA what else to try. I am currently out of shout - so can't use that either...
And, of course, it is black...so I can't use anything that would take the color out.

I told her I was SURE someone would know what to do...

ideas??

Thanks

Try freezing it, as I know if you get regular wax on things that helps greatly to remove all but the residue and that can be removed usually by taking your laundry soap directly to fabric. This is advise if this is not cashmere or another delicate fabric.

A paper towel and a hot iron. Place the paper towel on the wax and run the iron over it. The wax melts and soaks into the towel.
