Hi LariAnn,Nice article.I'm a fractal artist and would like to recommend Fractal Explorer.It's very intuitive and one of the best out there (and free). http://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/
Someone once told me that the fern frond is nature's perfect fractal.I also have some old ones posted one my website http://www.mnathan.eboard.com.Michael
